Subject	no egr temperature sensor help

Message	so i changed the harness on my tt, the problem is that the new(to me) harness doesnt have the egr temperature sensor plug, and im gettin a code 35, ive looked at some threads and found that on the ecu(itself) slot 30(this is where the black wire goes) and 39(this is where the orange/ black line wire goes) are for the sensor, but theres alreay a wire on 39(white wire, dont know what is for), my car is a 91, the harness is for a 93, i thought they were compatible, do i have to de-pin and rearrange the wires, any info would help a lot, thanx
